| Introduction | Hi, my name is Brian and have been interested in all things radio since I discovered, and built, my first crystal set in the late fifties. I eventually got round to taking the RAE in 1985 and obtained the call sign of G1PVK. Two years later I took the morse test and became G0HDI. Since then I have played with just about all modes available. I came to prefer data in particular, which has included Navtex, Wefax, Packet, DSC, APRS, Mode S, SSTV Opera,ROS,JT65-HF,wspr, psk modes, Hellschreiber, Propnet, Olivier, mfsk8/16 and V4Protocol (fec & arq) 2 way with IC-718 combined with a Rigblaster Pro interface and an indoor home made magnetic loop. |
