| Introduction | I love country living and was raised on a farm- it's in my blood! I married a city boy who's doing his best to become a gentleman hobby farmer. I love homemaking and strive to be a great wife and mother (I'm NOT there yet, just ask my kids).I know that this crazy, busy time of my life will not last for long. Someday the kids will not be here and my house will be clean and quiet. So, I fully intend to pour myself into them now, and try my best to keep perspective. Confession: I still fly off the handle at food on the floor, scream for some quiet, and lock myself in the bathroom to pray, but try my best to keep all things in perspective. Some days I do better than others... My belief is that Jesus needs to be the center of everything I do, not prioritized as God, family, then self, but God in and through everything I do. I am 38 and have been married to the same man for 19 years. I have 4 children ages 12, 9, 5, and 2. Three boys and a girl. We live on 10 acres, have one crazy, chicken-herding dog named, Ruby, 2 barn cats, a flock of laying hens, and occasionally pigs. We homeschool and I continue to work part-time as a nurse on weekends. |
