Introduction	I am a homeschooling mother of two with a strong connection with the natural world. We are planning to build a straw bale home with renewable energy in the next couple of years. Sustainability is my mantra. This naturally steers my interests toward gardening- produce, herbs & native plants, natural remedies, local & organic food, foraging and making choices with minimal environmental impact. I know I don't sound very original these days but I hope that's a good thing. A few years back who would have thought an environmentalist would blend into the crowd. I hope this subject doesn't become white noise. There seems to be shift in the direction of sustainability which can lead to great things.
