Introduction	I am a stay-at-home mom to two adorable boys who keep me very busy -- Thing 1 and Thing 2. Over the past several years, my husband and I have been struggling to find the balance between maintaining a tight budget and still enjoying the nice things we can no longer afford as easily. I am starting this blog as a place for me to log our journey and help share some of the ways we've learned to save -- mostly by doing things ourselves. My hope is to inspire you in some way -- be it trying a project we did or seeing that an idea you already have really is possible. Because believe me -- if I can do it, so can you!
