| Introduction | I am wild at heart, yet much tamer than I used to be. Private, yet open; compassionate, but solitary; Funny, but modest; strict, but fair. At times too brave, and other times hindered by my fears. I am passionate, sometimes bordering on obsessive. I constantly strive to be a better person and to contribute to a better world, little by litte, in my own unobtrusive way. I don't like arguing or debating so much, but I'm a protector, by nature, and will defend the underdog with utter fierceness. |
| Interests | Photography, writing, music (listening, playing, singing, although I'm too shy to sing in front of many people), swimming, swimming, and, did I mention swimming?Horses (x100), mountain trekking, buzkashi (x10), fishing, traveling through the pasture lands of this beautiful country (Tajikistan), Permaculture, Honey, and people in general, although I sometimes don't like human nature and I find the company of animals to be more pleasant and peaceful. I also expend a lot of effort in furthering my spiritual depth. Personal growth is a priority. I also love to mentor and teach in an informal way. |

| Favorite music | I couldn't even begin to do this justice. Grateful Dead is definitely among the top, as is Tori Amos, Mahsa Vahdat and Sam McCain. But I also love Kyrgyz throat singing, Yulduz Uzmonova, Dave Matthews and Dead Can Dance, among hundreds of others. |
| Favorite books | Anything by Dr. (John) Wayne Dyer (John being my addition cuz he's the Badass Cowboy of self-actualization). The Tao of Eqqus by Linda Kohanov, and Permaculture, A Designer's Manual, by the founder of Permaculture, Bill Mollison (who is an absolute genius, by the way). |
