| Introduction | From 1920's gas and diesel engines to 22,000 hp propulsion units, oil field, to supercharged/turbo'd race car engines. I have been custom designing, and building engines since the age of sixteen, been involved in SEATO british to american naval cross deck machinery ops. From mechanic, machinist, Port Engineer, draftsman, reporter, consultant, factory trainer, failure analyst, forensic investigator, surveyor and disaster reconstructionist, Solar energy (NASA, DOE,)researcher ...I have pretty much been there ! As both a factory representative and private consultant, I traveled worldwide, for most of the worlds largest engine manufacturers. I accumulated thousands of classroom hours as a corporate trainer, with my writing, reporting, and research abilities as my forte. Marine propulsion was always my vocation...Tired,,,I retired at age 50 to just relax ! and then I retired again, at age 65...I now write as a hobby, and publish a literary newspaper.
