| Introduction | As a fan of Evan Roderick, I’ve found his journey to be both inspiring and relatable. His shift from the world of competitive hockey to acting and songwriting shows that with dedication, it’s possible to take life in a completely new direction and thrive. I first saw Evan as Detective Nick Anastas on Arrow. He had a quiet, confident presence that immediately stood out, even in a limited role. When I later found out he had played Division I hockey at UMass Lowell, it gave me a whole new level of appreciation for his path. After an injury cut his athletic career short, Evan didn’t give up; he embraced a new chapter and pursued acting with intention and hard work. Growing up in Vancouver, Evan was fully committed to hockey. He moved between several schools across British Columbia to pursue that goal. Even during those demanding years, he found time in the summer to work in commercials. Although small at the time, those early roles ultimately sparked the interest that would later develop into a full-time career. |
