Introduction	My blog continues...after a large gap from 2010 to 2015! I moved from North Carolina to Virginia, home schooled my son, worked, enrolled him in public school, separated - divorce in progress - and I am starting over as a single mom. I'm picking up where I left off, and picking up the camera too. I'm continuing the journey - different than the one I'd mapped out - but still trying to live with gratitude, acceptance, by caring less about what others think and more about being at peace and living with grace, by finding joy where I am instead of thinking of it as a destination.
Interests	My son, autism, Christianity, politics, parenting, current events, architecture, real estate, traveling, being creative - painting, drawing, designing, decorating.
Favorite movies	You've Got Mail, Father of the Bride I & II (I'm a sucker for sweet romantic comedies) Sleepless in Seattle, Last Holiday, Luther (about Martin Luther), The Pursuit of Happyness, The Blind Side, Rudy, any Doris Day, Esther Williams, & Lucille Ball movies, Miracle on 34th St (the 1994 remake!), A Christmas Story, The Santa Clause movies...basically anything happy, funny, & romantic (but not sleezy)

Favorite books	The Jan Karon series of books melt my heart and inspire me the most - to live a simple life, a life of genuine care for others and authenticity.
