Interests Drawing and that..People..Nature....the products of both...it'd be easier to say disinterests.
Favorite Movies Charlie Chaplin (even a king in new york), Buster Keaton, Charlie Kaufman, Engmar Bergmann, Bruce Robinsons have all made some crackers...there are loads.i like them when they are well written, get dragged towards humanist types too..but there is a place for everything i suppose..more or less.. more recently though i thought Synecdoche was awsome.reet clever as they say round my way
Favorite Music Traditional music is nice....the 1920s and 30s blues..delta stuff...son house...patton..the evolution of that in to this and that and this into that..its beautiful how music grows...Taraf du Haidouks...what a band they are..just awsome really......bob dylan and that you know...interesting stuff...i enjoy the history of music..i suppose mainly before commerce was involved.but after that too...having said that i'm a massive radiohead fan but they are well marketed...but they should be, because they are proberbly unparalelled, its just harder to trust the integrity of modern music..the artistic sensiblity seems a little bastardized by the way our world developed...that isnt bitterness talking...i wish it was the 50s..blah blah...but its all changed...maybe not..i dont know i wasnt there..fuck it i should deal with it.
Favorite Books All the good ones, you know..last book i read was N Gogol Dead Souls...really enjoyed it..Isabel FONSECA BEFORE THAT:::BURY ME STANDING::REALLY INTERESTING...kingdom of fear..hst..liked that...No Logo...Naomi Klein..really interesting but made me feel sick.....a nice helpless depression with that book..but still...shouldnt turn away..better the devil you know and all that..noam chomsky..understanding power...again its interesting but its the same old story of the poor getting poorer and shat on...again...and again..and again...and agian...i like Buckowski..his poems more than his novels....nice to hear the thoughts of strange characters...you dont have to agree with them..or all of it..in fact you definatly shouldnt.i like the beats too up to a point...dont like folk banging on like they've got all the answers even if they are insightful

why isnt the pope in jail?
