Introduction Estudié danza, actuación y dirección de escena. En 1996 egresé del Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón de la carrera de Régie en Ópera. Desde entonces he trabajado como asistente de dirección y fui coordinadora artística del Centro de Experimentación del Teatro Colón de Buenos Aires durante 10 años dedicado a la difusión de la ópera contemporánea. He realizado la puesta en escena de Operas de repertorio como Il Tabarro, , Gianni Schicchi, Eugenio Onegin, Rigoletto, Werther, Amor Brujo, Ifigenia en Tauride , Madama Butterfly, L’Orfeo de Monteverdi entre otras, y del repertorio contemporáneo como The telephone de Menotti, los estrenos mundiales de Parodia de P. Ortiz y Tenebrae de Alejo Perez, Historia de un Soldado de Stravinsky, "VANITAS" de S. Sciarrino para el Teatro Real, también invitada al Festival de Música de Alicante. En 2012 he estrenado El Niño y la Creación del Mundo, ópera para niños encargo del Teatro Real, compuesta por Miquel Ortega. He impartido cursos de puesta en escena para el Museo del Romanticismo y el Teatro Real. Próximamente la dirección escénica de Java Suite ópera de Agustí Charles (Festival de Perelada, Opera de Butxaca y Kleineshaus Basilea).
Interests Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.She studied dance and acting since earlier age. She was part of courses of painting at Fine Arts Accademy in Buenos Aires. In 1992 she started her studies at the Art Institute of the Teatro Colón Opera House in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She recieved her undergraduate degree in Opera Stage Direction in 1996.In 2002 she won a scholarship for specialization course in Theater directing and dramaturgy from the Spanish Goverment. In 2003 she was accepted to do a stage at the Teatro Real Opera House in Madrid, Spain sponsored by Antorchas Foundation. WORK EXPERIENCE She started to work in 1997 at the Teatro Colón Opera House in Buenos Aires as assistant direction. In 2003 she is nominated as artistic coordinator for Experimentation Center of Music and Contemporany Opera of the Teatro Colón working there until 2007. This institution was created in 1990 to promove and investigate the staging, composing of the contemporany opera, music and dance. Her opera debute was in 1997 with “The Telephone” by Gian Carlo Menotti. After that she directed “La Serva Padrona” by Pergolesi, "Amelia al ballo" by Menotti, the world premier of “Parodia” by Pablo Ortiz in 1997, 1999 “Tenebrae” a contemporany opera based on poet Paul Celan’s life. Other notable directing engagements include after that Werther (2004), Rigolletto (2005), Yevneny Onegyn (2006)by Tchaikovsky, Puccini’s “Il Tabarro” and “Gianni Schicchi” (2007) and “Iphigenié in Tauride” by Gluck in September 2008; 2010 “Histoire du soldat” Stravinsky, and “Vanitas” Salvatore Sciarrino at the Teatro Real Opera House in Spain. She was nominated twice to the prize “Asociación de Críticos de Espectáculos de Buenos Aires” for her “Rigoletto” and Gluck’s production. She created and directed pieces of musical- theatre based on Rainer Rilke, Samuel Becket, Jules Verne, Bertolt Brecht and Alejandra Pizarnik´s works. At this moment she is working at the Royal Theater Opera House in Madrid, Spain.
