| Introduction | I'm an osteopath! Chua Wei Yng (that's me) is an Australian trained and registered Osteopath and is currently working at Osteopathic Healthcare (link to your left, +65 6464 2087). I graduated from RMIT University with a Bachelor degree in Applied Science and Master of Osteopathy in 2008. I started out as a journalist for The New Paper for over 4 years before going to study in Melbourne. I wrote a fortnightly health column - Another Wei, how corny - for The New Paper on Sunday for over 2 years. While in Melbourne, I've also worked as a sports trainer for a local footy club and dealt with sports-related injuries. In regards to treatment, I'm interested in the biodynamic approach to osteopathy in the cranial field, which focuses on finding the health rather than the disease. I've found that it is extremely non-invasive when it comes to treating babies, children and those in ill health. I've also completed a course, Biodynamic treatment of children phase 1. |
