IntroductionI am a stone sculptor who was lost in corporate Calgary working for a private multinational company. 5 years later the company has collapsed due to epic incompetence and alleged fraud. The financial catastrophe has left me worse than broke on my 50th birthday. However, now I'm liberated from that nasty, corrupt pit of liars and incompetents. I'm going back to what matters. Getting back to a harmony with nature and it's beauty and teaching my daughter to know she's part of it. I think Permaculture is the best way for us to get there. I've just received my certificate as a Permacuture designer and teacher from the excellent folks at Verge Permaculture. However, as I have very little funds, I have been looking to find alternative low cost solutions to design and building permaculture gardens. I couldn't help but think that it might be a good idea to document the process and share what I learn. Doing it well and for less is just better overall, I'd say. I love the creative aspect of being resourceful. I'll share my ideas, mistakes, and successes here and invite all comments. Everything I do is open source and only hope that some might find it useful.
