| Introduction | Landlocked Mermaid started as a place for me to talk about five years of infertility. Blogging opened an entire world of friendships, fashion, support groups and ideas that I treasure. And got me through that difficult time. I am now a Mommy to a two year old little girl, who is my joy and am pregnant, due in October with a second daughter. I blog because I love to write, remember and reflect each night before I go to sleep.I love the small and intimate community that has come from Landlocked Mermaid and have so many true friendships as a result. The women who read this blog offer me advice, support and more laughs and love that I ever thought possible. Mountain Man is my husband. He is amazing and loving and is long-suffering with his patience for his retail loving, girly, early rising, exercise loving, list making, demanding and nutty wife. I start every day by putting two feet on the floor and saying, "Thank you," because truly every day that is how I feel. And here I am 15 years later Mommy to two darling girls, who with their Daddy are the loves of my life. These three people saved my life xx (bono) xx |
