| Introduction | Jed loved his Dad and Mom, Orville and Ruth Brown. Orv taught Industrial Arts. In retirement, Orv carves full-size, museum-quality carousel horses. Ruth taught Office Skills, an expert in the mysterious craft of " taking shorthand." She baked "to-die-for" pies that were sold at fundraisers for Jed's campaign for SPI. Five days before Jed passed away, we reminisced about their fantastic clown ministry serving the children in their church and what fun we had clowning in the Seafair Torchlight Parade and other parades around the state during the political campaign of 1996. Both of his parents were teachers --- and his heroes. |
