| Introduction | I received my first culinary tutelage from my Mom; she taught me to cook by remote control, relaying instructions from 3 rooms away. Most of my dishes are either simple all day projects which feature just a few ingredients to simmer / braise, or smaller bits which require intensive amounts of prep work. The act of preparing food is to me recreation, entertainment, rehabilitation and art. I hope this blog serves to inspire in others the spark to go out and try new things!
