| Introduction | Huh? "Folksnake"? What's with that? I thought you were Mister Sunshine! |
| Interests | You may ask "What's with the folksnake thing?" It was inspired by a mailbox painted with a snake--in a folksy style--on the eastern slope of South Mountain, right along Alt. 40. I always called it the "folksnake" mailbox, and so I stole it. The idea, not the mailbox. |
| Favorite movies | Nightmare Alley, World of Henry Orient, Royal Tenenbaums, Rushmore, This is really hard huh? I mean these are just the movies I can remember right now. Oh yeah, The Science of Sleep, was great too. |
| Favorite music | Oh jeez...don't get me started. Let's just say "Beatles" and everything follows from there... |
| Favorite books | Death Raft,The Long Walk, One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich, most anything about people dying (or more perversely--actually surviving!) in the Antarctic or Arctic. And books with maps in them. Plus stories about friendships forged in the crucible of war (not really--but I did have a patron actually say that out loud once--VERY out loud. "Yes sir!" I said as I lead him to the Crucibly-Formed Relationships section) |
