| Introduction | Athenswears started in 2007 as a street fashion blog. The project was initiated by the Urban team. Since 2009 the team had to split and the project is carried away solely by one of the founding members. Throughout the years the scope of the project has changed and its base has moved to London. The multi-cultural metropolis provides a unique background that blends with the personalities of the people being photographed. Each person's story transforms the way we view the city. In every conversation the keyword remains fashion used as an initial theme to spark conversations. The aim is to take a step back and listen to people describing themselves, their habits and their ways of surviving in the urban jungle. |
