| Introduction | Welcome! I was born in Baltimore, the greatest city in America, and went to the University of Maryland for college. Upon graduation, I moved to Boston to start a Ph.D. at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where I struggled with the scientific endeavor, found new friends, and learned to be in love with two cities at once. After a scary fall, quick recovery, and sequences of luck and inspiration, I decided to shift my life towards medicine and global health. I graduated from MIT in June 2015. In tradition with my past history of studying in English-speaking countries (#australia #england), I decided to move to South Africa, to learn, work, wander, and of course, eat my way around the continent. #truepurpose I'll be using this blog to record my thoughts, post photos, and most importantly, stay in touch. I am notorious for quickly falling into lone wolf status when left to my own devices, and I seek to change that. I invite you to read on at your leisure and drop a note when you can.
