Introduction	I have been given a heart for families and desire to be an encouragement to parents just like me who are trying to do their best to raise children that shine in this world. I don't have it all figured out, but I have learned a lot over the years as a teacher, director and mother. Let's share what we know and help each other make the best choices for our children and families.
Interests	At this season in my life many of my interests would be to encourage our children to find their interests. I love seeing them discover the gifts God has given them. When I am choosing my activities I enjoy playing volleyball, singing, sewing and writing.
Favorite music	I listen to mostly Christian Contemporary music. I enjoy artists like: Out of the Grey, Charlie Peacock, Laura Story, Brit Nicole and many others. My favorite songs are ones that make me think and help desire to apply something to my life.
Favorite books	There are so many categories of books, I find it hard to choose favorites. I enjoy many books: The Giver, Crazy Love, Raising a Modern Day Joseph, Heidi, In His Steps....James is my favorite book of the Bible.
