| Introduction | The realization that I am on an island somewhere in the Caribbean is still very surreal for me, even after I have been here for three months. I am a volunteer for the Peace Corp, Environmental Sector and stationed for the next two years in Jamaica. My new home is a small town called Highgate in the Parish of Saint Mary. I hope to make this blog, less about my own personal experience but more to help share the history and culture, the struggles and challenges, and hopefully a simple day in the life of a Jamaican. |
