| Introduction | So those of you who know me, know that I am currently working at a U WACKO ORGANIZATION. It's a fun place to work, for the most part. I like the people I work with, mostly. We happened to hire a new WACKO this week; she seems like a nice gal. Until I got into a conversation with her today, and she utters these words to me! "You're the same age as my mom!" Why this sentence should bug me so bad, I don't know, but it did. Maybe because a co-worker is supposed to be like, I don't know, a peer? And here, this gal (who is 20 by the way) is young enough to be my kid. Yikes. Better go refill my frickin Geritol! |
