| Introduction | I was born in Fort Worth but soon moved to a small nearby town, Weatherford. Weatherford is a predominately conservative Republican town but I would exclude myself from that description. I consider myself an Independent and I am more liberal than conservative. I'm very open minded and share both right and left views, so in politics, I tend to focus more on the principles and ideologies of individuals than their party affiliation. I haven't had much political experience yet but I am trying everyday to learn and become more involved. I'm taking this class to fulfill a requirement for my major, but I'm hoping it will help me to better understand and gain interest in government issues. |
