| Introduction | Cinda Hocking, LMSW practiced as a medical social worker for over 17 years. She has extensive training in both the self-defense and health applications of martial arts. She is an active member of Juko-Kai International and studies at White Crane Michigan in both Juko-ryu Hakutsuru (White Crane) Karatejutsu and Juko-ryu Tai-Ki. Her practice experience is focused on helping clients through wellness challenges and psychological barriers that interfere with their ability to create, choose, maintain and enjoy a healthier lifestyle. Cinda has presented and supervised training for employers, health care providers and human service workers on a variety of physical, emotional and psychological health issues. She is active in developing and teaching stress reduction and enjoyable fitness programs for clients with challenges such as chronic illness and injuries. She provides training and consultation in coping with the causes and effects of stress.
