| Introduction | My name is Kate. I am eighteen and have two younger siblings who are sixteen and thirteen who are and will soon be taller than me (Ahh! They need to stop growing.). Reading and playing soccer are two of my favorite pastimes, though I've found having adult responsibilities limits my time for these activities. :( One of my parents is in the military, so I currently live in Japan! I'm taking a gap year before going to college and I'm about to go on a mission trip on a ship for three months. I'll be traveling to five different countries and will post updates here on or after the trip. |
| Interests | I love Jesus, soccer, reading, dance (specifically tap and ballet), chocolate, coffee, autumn, and thunderstorms. I love culture and languages and want to learn as much as I can through experiencing different places. I'd like to get into photography and want to learn how to play the guitar. |
| Favorite movies | The Young Victoria, Star Wars IV, V, and VI, Lord of the Rings, Alice in Wonderland (Johny Depp and Mia Wasikowska), most of the Avengers universe movies, Pirates of the Caribbean series, The Chronicles of Narnia, A Thousand Words, Pride and Prejudice, Little Women (the movie and the book). As for TV shows, Sherlock rules. |

If you could peer far enough into the night sky, you'd see a star in any direction you looked. When would you sleep?
I don't think I'd get anything done. The daytime would be for sleeping, and nighttime for gazing in wonder at the sky.
