Introduction | Going through the residency application process is stressful, and often times confusing – I should know, I have been there. As a Canadian IMG who sincerely wanted to come back to Canada for residency, I truly understand how daunting and discouraging the process can seem. In an effort to aid future applicants, I have created this blog, which should help ease the process, remove some of the guess work – and most importantly help you acquire a Canadian residency! ABOUT ME: I studied Medicine at St. George's University, Grenada, West Indies (completed clinical clerkships in New York, USA). Prior to this, I obtained my B.Sc. in Life Sciences and my M.Sc. in Anatomy and Cell Biology from Queen's University (Canada). Residency: Matched in 2010 to Neurology at the University of Western Ontario. |
