| Introduction | CONTINUUM, a bicycle shop Mon-Fri 11-7 Sat 10-6 Sun 12-5 Continuum Coffee Mon-Sat-7-7 Sun 9-5 Continuum, a bicycle shop, is a full service repair and sales shop in New York City's East Village. At Continuum, we pride ourselves on a breadth of cycling knowledge as varied as our selection of new and used bikes-- and our selection of bikes is as varied as our customers. Continuum customers range from the commuter toting a laptop in her panniers to the parent towing two kids on his xtracycle, from the vintage bike geek in search of NOS period correct components to the messenger transforming her track bike into an urban assault vechicle. Fixed gear heads, pro road racers, bike polo enthusiasts, Frejus collectors, BMXers, Puerto Rico Schwinn Club members: these are our customers. We love bikes, and knowing how to work on all kinds of bicycles—especially yours—is what we do. |
| Favorite Movies | CONTINUUM CYCLES We created Continuum Cycles in 2006 as a frame building operation and the first filet brazed Columbus Continuum with Henry James dropouts hangs in our shop at 199 Avenue B. We continue to produce hand-built custom frames and have added production pista, road and cross frames to our line. All steel frames are made in Italy and painted in the U.S, while the aluminum track frame we are perhaps most known for--with sponsored riders racing to victories at both the Red Hook Crit and Monster Track in 2011-- are made in China. | Favorite Music | CONTINUUM COFFEE Mon-Sat 7-7 Sun 9-5 Most recently we have brought our commitment to quality service to Continuum Coffee, a coffee bar and vegan food shop adjacent to the bicycle shop. We serve Kitten Coffee's single origin, Brazilian beans specially roasted for Continuum Coffee in Bed-Stuy. We offer vegan alternatives to everything on our menu, including marshmallows and whipped cream so feel free to enjoy your vegan hot chocolate with one or the other or both. Our menu changes daily but regularly features items from favorites Sweet Sara and Vegan O'Brien. Mondays we invite Monk's Meats to our space for tasty sandwiches, wraps and hot pockets. We will soon be offering hot sandwiches from Monk's Meats daily.
