| Introduction | My Husband and I bought our first home last year. For a young couple, we went against the grain and moved to the country. He is in the Landscaping business and I work as a merchandiser for an Interior Decorating company. You would think we have the perfect home inside and out. Maybe one day that will be the case. But for now, we are tackling one DIY project at a time. I am a very Highly Skilled Shopper. He is handy and has a green thumb. We live with our 2 dogs, Maggie and Darcy. We are foodies and music snobs. We like our home to be filled with interesting unique objects. We buy natural, local and sustainable whenever possible, and we love free stuff on the side of the Road! This is my story of life in the country and The long slow process of nesting on a budget. |
