| Introduction | I am a freelance London-based journalist specialising in writing and researching about decorative and fine art and antiques. My taste is eclectic and my fascination with the arts insatiable. Since retiring from university teaching in the late 90s, I have been exploring London's mainstream art and design events as well as keeping an eye on the younger generation of emerging artists who exhibit their work in fringe venues. The joy of living in this city has enabled me to get to know world class museums, galleries, fairs, auction houses, markets and blockbuster exhibits. They are all on my doorstep. Now I devote myself to writing and publishing articles about the arts. |
