Bike to End Fistula: Seattle to San Francisco

About me

Introduction	Amber and Kelsea are the second and fourth daughters in a family of four sisters from the San Juan Islands in Washington State. Kelsea graduated from Western Washington University in Bellingham with a degree in Marine biology and is currently in between tuna research in Hawaii and dolphin research in Greece (it is a tough life!). Kelsea was part of the WWU collegiate champion cycling team. Amber is in her fourth year of her PhD at the University of Chapel Hill in North Carolina and has just enough time to squeeze in the ride before heading off to Malawi for World Bank HIV research. Part of Amber's dissertation focuses on traumatic fistula (due to sexual violence and female genital cutting) in four African countries.
