Introduction	My family consists of me, my husband Rick (AKA maxrad), my son and daughter Danuel and Nicole, and my two stepsons Daniel and Andrew, who live in California.
Interests	Vast and varied. From arts and religion to science and history. From ecology and water rights to pop culture and fashion. If you can put a name to it then I'm probably interested in the knowledge of/ the understanding of/ and(or) the acquisition of "it!"
Favorite Movies	LOTR, The Passion of Joan of Arc (the 1928 silent film version starring Maria Falconetti), and many many more.
Favorite Music	Mozart, Reverend Gary Davis, Queen, old time country such as Patsy Cline and Tennessee Ernie Ford, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Doc Watson, Elizabeth Cotton, Austin Lounge Lizards, Elton John, and ad infinitum.
Favorite Books	I'll read almost anything except bodice rippers. Some of my favorite authors and playwrights are Stephen King, Clive Barker, Anne Rice, Charles Dickens, William Faulkner, Tennessee Williams, Cormac McCarthy, the Dalai Lama, Hunter S. Thompson, William Shakespeare, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Anton Chekhov, Edgar Allan Poe, Isaac Asimov, and on and on.
