| Introduction | I am a 61 year old vegan, born in Britain, lived in Canada most of my life...mother of 4 grown children, grandmother of 5. Working at a school for the Deaf and working on getting healthy and fit. The focus of my blog here has been focused on my transition from meat eating carnivore to vegetarian and recently to vegan. I have decided that I love animals and care about the environment a great deal, and eating meat doesn't fit with either of those things. My meals have mainly been a journey about coming to terms with a former life of meat to one where I can successfully veganize meals I used to love.
