Introduction	Karen has a BS in Business and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA). If you know her then you also know the BS part is clearly true. Prior to becoming a full time mom and writer she was the Director of Marketing and Communication for a national behavioral health care company in the mid-Atlantic. Before her first child was born, she was the Director of Marketing for a spinoff startup company focusing on prescription drugs and behavioral health management tracking. She developed branding, logos, marketing materials, trade-show presence, proposals, and pretty much anything else required, but not coffee. Other jobs: lifeguard, swim instructor, waitress, Senior Contract Specialist, and several other not so fun things that she tries to block out.
