IntroductionThe Hyrax works in advertising. It is a short-legged, well-furred, rotund creature with a mere stump for a tail. The Hyrax is about the size of a domestic cat. You can find The Hyrax on a grassy noll or a mossy piece of rock, on or around Table Mountain, where it cavorts with the rest of its family. It likes the German tourists the most because they feed it NikNaks. It lives for NikNaks. Despite its seemingly unexceptional appearance The Hyrax has a remarkable prehistoric lineage. Hyraxes are the closest living relatives of the elephant. They also have cloven feet and cold blood. When The Hyrax isn't scrounging or squealing it's working overtime as a copywriter in Cape Town, South Africa, where it has its nest. You can view its photos at http://www.flickr.com/photos/thehyrax, or add it as a friend at http://www.myspace.com/thehyrax . Disclaimer: Please note that the opinions expressed in Stroke the Hyrax are those of The Hyrax and The Hyrax alone. They do not reflect the opinions of the fantastic company for which i work, or of any of the brands or people mentioned. Have a lovely day.
