| Introduction | My work world began with inanimate objects – computers. I wrote programs that made them come to life and perform complex tasks. I loved that part of my life – it was creative in a logical way. I morphed into a manager and then into a well-respected Software Process consultant. Yet, I felt that I hadn't tapped into my deeper creative flow. I had a great imagination and an ability to write. I combined those talents and began writing creatively. I published short stories and travel logs. Then, I dug deep into the fictional world. When my sister died in 2015, I took a huge leap into the world of children’s books, writing a story that my sister had always wanted to write, Fiona – the Lighthouse Firefly. Here Fiona appears with Lizbeth and her woodland friends. In the sequel, Lizbeth and her woodland friends are joined by Lucas, a young boy from Kodiak, Alaska. I have three adult novels ready to publish: one romantic time travel, a cozy mystery, and a French romantic novel.
