| Introduction | My name is Sam Westall and I plan to become a concept artist for the entertainment industry, be it games, films, TV shows ect. The area of expertise i'd like to specialise in more is character design, as I have more experience in that subject and have studied it for longer. A good friend once told me me a quote that inspired him "if you wanna be a director...go out and make movies!" The same applies to everything else, in my case if I want to become a character designer go out and make characters, and thats why I've started this blog to act as a platform to show my design process and showcasing the final piece. Hopefully someone may see potential in this work and grant me as a member of their design team, i'm not counting on that will happen any time soon, but i'll keep trying. Until then lets get designing :D |
