| Introduction | There is nothing in all the world like being a mom. I have 5 children by birth and 2 step children. These blogs are about the journeys I have taken with 2 of them. To be a parent without faith is like swimming without arms. Knowing my Saviour loves my children more than I ever could, makes saying goodbye or facing the challenges they present much less of a weight. In Him, I can wait, trust, listen and lean. Proverbs 3:5,6. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge HIM and He will direct your paths. Amen! |

| Favorite movies | Pride and Prejudice, the best all-time movie EVER, Sense and Sensibility, Australia, and just about any romantic, adventurous movie with a GOOD plot. |
| Favorite music | A variety, for sure: Keith Urban, Sugarland, Hawk Nelson, Switchfoot, Stellar Kart, Hillsong United, Bon Jovi, Josh Groban, Miley Cyrus, (it's true and I'm not ashamed), any band with great harmonies. |
| Favorite books | The bible. All the answers for every problem in one book. Also good Christian historical fiction; authors like Francine Rivers, Liz Higgs, Brock and Brodie Thoene, etc. |
