Introduction	Hi, I'm James Davies. I'm a Biomedical Scientist specialising in Haematology and Blood Transfusion. I worked for the NHS in England for 13 years, and then decided to apply my skills elsewhere and bugger off to Africa. I am now doing voluntary work through VSO in the laboratory at Nyangao Hospital, in Southern Tanzania and will be here for 2 years.
