| Introduction | So, what makes me think that I can be a restaurant reviewer? Well, I've been told I'm a great cook by many and I know what I like. No, that doesn't mean you'll necessarily agree with my tastes, but that's alright too. The most common (and best) way for a restaurant to gain popularity is through word-of-mouth advertising. Friends tell friends until no tables can be had without extensive reservations, or, conversely until the only patrons are the local mice and bugs. Since there are so many places in ANY city to choose from in the way of restaurants, bistros, cafes, and other establishments, we can't rely on our friends having stumbled across a hidden gem or saving us from culinary misery. This is where I hope I can help fill in the gaps so that whether you live in (or near) Kofu or are visiting the city or happen to be on a business trip, you can make the most of some of the city's best dining spots!
