Why don't you ever wear a scarf? It doesn't need to be cold outside for your neck to feel naked.
I live in Texas. If I wore a scarf and walked facing away from the wind, someone getting hit by a 100 degree breeze and seeing my fluttering scarf could mistake me as a dragon. And my sword defense skills are rusty.
