| Introduction | I am not a shopaholic. As an ex-fashion designer I do enjoy buying beautiful clothes, shoes, jewellery, bags, and...Ok maybe there is a slight tendency of me being a shopaholic. However I don't identify myself with Becky in "Confessions of a Shopaholic". I don't shop for the thrill of it or for that one second of pick myself up after taking home the purchase of the day. I buy things that I love and that I can add to my list of fashion collection over the years. I do shop sensibly, well...I guess not so much from the financial perspective. Shamefully to admit I do have credit card bills that I am trying to pay off because the 'things' worthwhile for me to collect usually cost much more than I can afford. I guess it is never too late to do something about my poorly managed finance. Therefore the reason to start this blog! I will set myself a reasonable budget every month and stick to it. It will be about buying less but enjoying more. Being stylish should not cost an arm and a leg! |
