Introduction	This blog was created, in 2008, with two goals in mind: 1) to provide a forum for conversation among the members of the Upper Crust Theological Society; and 2) to establish an interface between that Society and the ephereal world of the 'internet'. Members of the UCTS are free to post brief theological reflections on this site; both members and visitors to this site are invited to engage those reflections. The UCTS was itself established in 2001; its motto — 'because all might have something to contribute, but not all contributions are equal' — suitably indicates its philosophy and purpose. The Society does not exist to advance some form of generic, intellectual elitism. It exists, rather, to promote recognition that Theology is a task best performed by individuals owning some level of professional expertise relevant to the discipline.
