About me

Introduction	Mr. Dan Georgescu is a well-known SCM and SD SME specialized in professional development and educational strategy. He is an accomplished public speaker who takes a leadership role in the development of new programs and diploma offerings and creates academic partnerships. Mr. Dan Georgescu is the Principal Educational Strategy Consultant at PMAC, the Chair of the SSCMLP Academic Content Review Round Table and the Chair of PMAC Instructors Development Education Committee. He works in supplier development at Ford as STA Resident. As a member of the National ARP at the CSCSC, Mr. Georgescu participates in the government accreditation of all supply chain educational offerings. Mr. Georgescu is also a member of the Engineering Programs Advisory Committee of Sheridan College, and a member of the Quality in the Canadian Automotive Manufacturing Sector Experts Roundtable. Mr. Georgescu teaches Supplier Development, Purchasing, SCM, Strategic Sourcing, Operations, KM, International Business, Ethics, Finances, Leadership, Industrial Processes, and NPI. He teaches in graduate level programs offered by Wilfrid Laurier University, Humber and Sheridan, ADMI, and PMAC.
Interests	Mr. Georgescu published “Making supply chain design the rational differentiating characteristic of the OEMs” International Journal of Production Research and researched Knowledge Propagation in the Value Chain for the Laurier Chair in Enterprise Integration and Technology Management.
