| Introduction | Nancy, a self taught artist, has been creating art for 30 years, in Arizona. Her work is 3 dimensional and incorporates fiber, wood, metal, polymers, Glass & paint. She creates mosaics, mobiles, weavings, and art installations. Southwest Art Magazine writes, “Dunst is sharply attuned to the classic elements and principles of design that govern good painting and sculpture,”. She has been commissioned by Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix, shown at the Phoenix Art Museum and was invited to the Biennale Internazionale Dell’Arte Contemporanea in Italy in 2003,05&07. While becoming an artist, Nancy was an Associate Professor on the faculty of Western International University in Phoenix, teaching Art, and Business. As she taught, she began creating and selling her art, which developed into a small business employing 19 people, designing art for different corporate, municipal and private clients. |
