| Introduction | I love working with Harris Tweed;the beautiful soft colours evoke my beloved Highland landscape of mountains, rocks and water. It is so soothing to work with and when quilted up, is extremely warm. I have begun to explore different ways of piecing and overlapping the fabric to add texture.It was my sons ( all wearers of Harris Tweed jackets) who suggested using the Tweed for instrument covers.It has a timeless elegance that befits the traditional instruments such as the bodhran and the flute.
