| Introduction | Born in 1972 Lives and works in Paris. Before developing Les Corps Communs in 2015, Sarah Roshem, between the 90s and 2016, worked with wax in the form of a multimedia installation. In the 2000s, she put her wax practice at the service of a fictional medical laboratory, SR LABO. she develops concepts, immersive devices, works serving the viewer with the aim of helping them get better: SR Labo takes care of you. In 2011, she resumed a practice of wax sculpture under her surname: leaving questions of medical representation, she became interested in technical objects of human activity which she reinvented in wax in a balance of strength and fragility. |
