About me

Introduction	I am an 84 year old mother of three, (son and two daughters), grandmother of nine (three grandsons, six grand-daughters), and great-grandmother of three girls and two boys, with another great-grandchild on its way. Our happy family also includes one daughter-in-law, two sons-in-law, two grandsons-in-law, and some partners. I am very proud of them all and proud of myself as the initiator of this large family, with help from their Grandad Will who was much loved by his children and grandchildren and is still fondly remembered by them all. I love my new name, 'Nanna Strawberry.', bestowed on me in summer 2015. I have welcomed invitations to primary schools to help lead book reading projects to a plan discussed and agreed with literacy teams and to include readings of one oe more of my set of twelve Nanna Strawberry stories.
