| Introduction | A franco-ontarian originally from Sudbury, I've been a public services librarian for over 25 years. Studied music (piano and musicology) in my undergrad at University of Ottawa and did my Masters at Western Ontario(London). Spent 23 years in Windsor. Became CEO of the Clarence-Rockland in December of 2010. |
| Interests | Music - preferably classical but far from limited to it - Movies: historical dramas, chic-flicks, action, anything so long as I can empathize with someone and not catch myself saying: "Look, dark basements, closed doors and you're a babysitter with your cool high school friends in this cabin in the woods. Haven't you learned anything from watching movies???" - BBC TV with the occasional North American comedy thrown in - Scottish Country Dancing, Irish Set Dancing - Travel when I can afford to - especially to Northern Europe - Magazines more than books but, heck, I'll read anything: cereal boxes, washing instructions, vanity dribble in tiny script on CD slips where everyone in the world except me seems to get thanked - Baseball and soccer and if I can ever get around to getting the satellite dish connected... - Walks: lots of walks: my legs should end in stumps by now but my feet still tough it out - So many other things. |
