| Introduction | I am the mother of 7 children and 19 grandchildren. I am married to a wonderful man who is such a great support to me in my mothering. I began our "Mother's Who Know" meetings in 2012 and subsequently this blog because I wanted to help my own daughters to learn many of the things I learned when I was in Relief Society long ago. I missed the wonderful lessons we had: Social Relations, Mother Education, Cultural Refinement, and Homemaking. Ultimately as a mother, it is my responsibility to teach my daughters these things, so we began these meetings and they grew as others wanted to strengthen these areas in their own lives. I want to reach out to anyone who struggles and help them know that our calling and responsibility as mothers is great, and that with the help of the Lord we can do all that will bless our families and in turn will bless our communities and nations. |
