| Introduction | I have worked in automotive customization, been in the Army, was an executive level corporate funtionary, sold insurance and been a newspaper correspondent. I have lived in the American South, the Midwest, the Southwest and the Pacific Northwest. I went to college where I studied mathematics, which I hated, and economics, which I enjoyed possibly because I sensed that I would never manage to put it to use. On a personal level, I am a no longer young but not yet old, and a student of life. I’d like to say that I don’t make things up, that I just report them. But that would be a lie. I constantly make up all kinds of things and although I’ve become adept at self-deception, I try not to lie to others. |
