| Introduction | What was the first song you ever heard? First one to catch your fancy, first one that you wanted to hum, first one that gave you that 'the' feeling for which all the futile adjectives would come much later? I don't remember. Like first tears, first dream, and first erection----the first of the million tunes will never come back to me. To compensate that what remains is my lifelong journey in this wonderful world of music. Music, which sometimes talks thru the harmonica of grumpy Dylan, sometimes thru the guitar of David Gilmour, sometimes thru the silence of Mirza Galib. I walk and I pick up a few strayed tunes...and understand this endless melody called life. A little better. |
